Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. The service

Tenora is a rental dossier management platform that provides services to both tenants and landlords in the Netherlands. For tenants: Tenora helps you build, manage, and share rental application documents via a digital dossier, including generating professional PDF packages, secure sharing via links, and auto-filling landlord forms. For landlords: Tenora provides a centralized dashboard to receive, review, and manage tenant dossiers, including status management, messaging, project organization, and importing tenant data. By using Tenora, you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password. During registration, you choose an account type: tenant or landlord. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use Tenora. Each account is personal and may not be shared with third parties.

3. Subscription and payment

Tenora offers different subscription plans: Tenants: a paid subscription at €9.99/month with access to document storage, dossier generation, share links, and auto-fill. New tenants receive a 7-day free trial. Landlords free plan: manage up to 3 active dossiers with status tracking, notes, and manual entry. Completed dossiers are automatically removed after 30 days. Landlords Pro: a paid subscription at €19.99/month with unlimited dossiers, direct messaging with tenants, PDF export, projects and tags, CSV/Excel import, bulk invitations, and an analytics dashboard. All payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period.

4. Acceptable use

Tenants: you may only upload documents that belong to you or that you have permission to use. You may not use Tenora for fraudulent purposes or upload illegal content. Landlords: you may only view data that tenants have voluntarily shared with you. Shared dossier data may only be used for evaluating the relevant rental application. Forwarding, copying, or storing received data outside the platform for other purposes is not permitted. All users: attempting to access other users' data, abusing the platform, or disrupting the service is prohibited.

5. Your content

Tenants retain ownership of all documents and data they upload. We do not claim any rights over your content. We only access your data to provide the service (generating PDFs, creating share links, displaying dossiers to landlords at your request, etc.). Landlords retain ownership of their notes, project information, and other data they enter. Messages between tenants and landlords are owned by both participants.

6. Limitation of liability

Tenora is provided as-is. We do our best to keep the service available and data secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for decisions made by landlords or realtors based on a dossier, nor for the accuracy or completeness of data provided by tenants. Tenora does not act as a party in the rental agreement between tenant and landlord.

7. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time. This permanently removes all your data, including profile information, documents, packages, reactions, messages, and (for landlords) notes and projects. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of Tenora after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
